Holidays?

Greetings, this is Synapse. I am aware that Darkfire speaks of me from time to time. Speaking of my host, it is obvious that she hasn't updated for quite a few Terran cycles. Months?

Aside from the 'blah of senior year first semester' as she so puts it, she has been devoting quite a bit of time and energy to the role-playing game she signed up for this Spring. Deadzone RPG is the name of the game and she had taken up my persona as her first character. I do know know whether or not I should be flattered or not.

The room has been getting tighter for space, if that's possible. The bookshelf is now filled and Darkfire has taken to putting new arrivals on top of it. I do not think any more shall be coming from her for a while. Whether or not there shall be some ones that spontaneously arrive...I do not know.

Tracks sends his greetings from his perch and asks for someone to make something interesting happen...or a jar of high quality polish.

Ah, I forgot. There have been two new arrivals to Terra. I--I shall not state my personal opinions about them, but my thoughts on the two are not high. I---

So the little one types about us? It is unfortunate that he looks upon us with such a negative light. We haven't even done anything yet. We have been nothing but considerate to the Autobot, haven't we? That we have.

We are Axon and Dendron. Designation: Database monitors and controllers. There are also many other...technical skills that we possess. This human has been most accommodating to us. How curious her space is, we have not yet had the chance to examine the minute Transformers and their workings. Hopefully, we shall have that time soon. But it is good to make contact with some others. We shall be very pleased to get to know you all more.

Okay, okay, okay. Enough of this wild party of 'Pass the Timebomb', I figure it's now my turn to finally say something. Bonjour, Aloha, Hello, it's been a long while hasn't it? Many apologies and I know it's my fault. Everything's been piling up and I've been letting them. Everyone's doing fine over here, if a bit cramped. I'm going to have to tidy up the place to make some more room. OKAY TRACKS, STOP THROWING THINGS AT ME. That's not going to get me moving any sooner.

If you think my other resident giant robot is behaving, I can tell you...well, he kinda is. Big guy won't leave Synapse alone and that is leaving the minibot quite agitated. Not only that, but Axon and Dendron seem quite keen on getting acquainted. I...I think it's because they think a play on all their names is quite amusing. You know...how there's usually a synapse between an axon and a dendrite in the Nervous System? Bah, it's not worth it.

The two twins/brothers/halves of a spark/whatever they are seemed to have followed Timebomb's data trail here. Not only that but they caught sight of Synapse flying back one night from one of his midnight joyrides. Followed him home they did and I had to get up in the middle of the night to boggle at two averaged-sized Transformers unfolding in my driveway. Yeah, lucky me. Well, I suppose I'm fortunate in that the two only make one alt-mode. Yeah, they share the same form for their alt-mode: a large computer equipment-filled van.

Those other technical skills they mentioned? It's hacking. So yeah, they enjoy slicing into Timebomb's outer 'Terran computer' utilities. The big guy doesn't enjoy it, but there's not much he can do. He says that the Earth-software just isn't enough to hold out against the two. It's like trying to stop a bullet with tissue paper. They can't really hack totally into him though. He's Cybertronian and a bit of a computer specialist himself.

So yeah, with my life-sized TFs causing this mayhem, you think the rest of the RC is being calm? I've still got Decepticon-Decpticon issues, some Decepticon-Autobot issues, and the occasional Autobot-Autobot issues.

The only people keeping all of the Room Crew sane are Skyfire with some help from the Build Team's Grimlock. Mediators they are to the RC, saviors to my mind to me.

But the good news is this: First semester of senior year is over. It's all downhill (in a good way) from here. Whew. Here's one happy Darkfire for you, despite all this insanity.

PS: A Happy New Year to you all!

Room Crew Take-Over 2

It's officially crowded in here. I swear, every single time I turn around, there's someone quite a bit too close to me for comfort. A 'vette's gotta have his space!

So we have eleven, get this, ELEVEN, new crew members. All of them come within a few hours of each other. It's not even fall yet and we're filling up. I honestly have no idea of what Darkfire's going to do with the lack of space beginning to show in her room. I for one refuse to give up my spot, unless she makes some room on a pillow for me again. Ah, the good times when it was just Skyfire and I. Plenty of space and privacy for all. Now I never get any sort of break from this insanity.

We have the Robot Heroes figures chatting up a storm. Just because they're small doesn't mean they're quiet. Starscream's now finding quite a bit to argue about with one of the new arrivals: Astrotrain. Then there's the real problem: With the lack of space, Darkfire's moved some of the Autobots into Decepticon territory, and no one's happy about it. Recharge is going to be lacking if this keeps up.

Of the new arrivals, there's the Build Team and Car Brothers. They're the rowdy bunch now occupying the Decepticon space and they're fighters for sure. For that I can say I admire them. But how they kick up such a ruckus is beyond me.

What floors me even more is that Darkfire says that there will be more. Where is she going to fit all of us? No one is moving into any drawers or under the bed. Either she's prepared to scoot over or she put up some new shelves.

Ah yes, news on the others? Well, Timebomb is slowly talking a bit more about himself to Darkfire. Never qutie met someone quite like this mech before. Synapse has become a little more outgoing, but he's still as timid about new people as ever. I hope these newbies don't do something ridiculous.

//Connection stopped---new user reboot//

Timebomb here, reporting on something a little bigger. Darkfire's currently preparing with Synapse and myself for any trouble that might be coming up. Self defense is an issue they both need to work on. The kid (Synapse) won't be able to do anything on the battle field until he solves some of his own issues first. He's got to trust and he has to stop freezing up. Darkfire's got it a bit harder being so small. But I trust that we'll keep her alright.

This is Timebomb signing off with the Room Crew. Take care and be careful all!

Gearing Up...

Looks like there's trouble brewing elsewhere at the moment. I'll have to find out what's going on with these new Room Crew-mates' arrivals in due time. Right now, one of the other members of the Terrain Resistance is in need of aid: Mouse. Something about Naraku and Voldemort and the Book of the Dead, I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with this Naraku.

Synapse is prepared to help out with any spying/scouting that would be needed. Timebomb's ready to stretch his fighting skills again.

Speaking of Synapse, that spaceship is currently curled up in my room. 10-feet of large metal robot in my room. Thanks for the heads-up Kenya, he came back home safe and sound to a rather agitated me. I couldn't berate him too much, he started to wilt after my first few words so we settled for just quiet, relieved sitting time. The Room Crew has scattered all over my room to welcome Synapse back. Well...at least the Autobot section of the Room Crew. Starscream and Megatron could care less. Skywarp and Thundercracker, they were nice enough to bid a small welcome.

My little guys are all itching for some sort of action. After hearing news of Mouse's trouble, they're quite ready to do something. I warned them off combat though.

"You guys aren't made of steel and you all are not over 15 feet in height. I don't want you all getting hurt!"

"But we can help," says Tracks adamantly. Movie!Bumblebee and Ironhide nod, or in Ironhide's case, whirs and charges his cannons.

"You'll get crushed, that's what," I grumble under my breath as I settle back, the purr of Synapse's engines somewhat calming. The Crew's been at it all day.

"There must be something we can do. We cannot let you or them fight alone," Optimus Prime says. For a tiny guy, he's got a big heart--er lasercore?

I sigh. "We'll see what you all can do. I've told Mouse about out willingness to help out. If he has any ideas for you, I'll take you all off the side-lines. But only until then."

Skyfire and Perceptor are watching this whole thing quietly. I think they're both calculating up the damages that can occur and are figuring out how to repair them.

"Sentimental idiots, the lot of you. You can count the Decepticons out of this shenanigan!" sneers movie!Starscream. Yeah, this incarnation of Starscream won't listen to a word of tiny Megatron. But the two of them think on the same tracks. Only Thundercracker looks a little dubious about non-involvement, and if TC is dubious, Skywarp must be feeling something as well.

I've got to prepare myself as well. Being nothing but a liability will be terrible and I do want to help.

My....Poor...Window

All hold in silence as we morn the hole in my window.

*silence*

Now why is there a hole in my window? Just why? *side-long glance at a certain trigger-happy black Topkick* He, he being movie!Ironhide, woke me up in the middle of the night by blasting a hole through my screen and then driving straight through the glass. I don't know where he got that velocity or durability, but heck, he's Ironhide. Toughie.

Okay, so I solved that problem by taping plastic wrap over said hole and then telling Ironhide very clearly that my stuff isn't to be so lightly broken. I'm in the middle of inquiring why in the world did he break into my room through the window when there's a small popping noise.

There goes my plastic wrap window. A new rip created by a tiny blue seeker, on whose back is a tiny G1!Jazz. They settle down in quite a hurry on my bookshelf and dodge in between two books that were leaning just so against each other to create a cave-like crack. Why TC and Jazz came in together I have no idea. But the two seem to be getting along quite well and fit in very well with the rest of the Robot Heroes group. Much to mini-Megatron's chagrin.

Three new room-mates. In one night. I know I didn't get them from the store so where the heck did they come from?

Turns out all three of them were running loose for the same reason: they were being chased by something. Now it's probably something ridiculously scary if Ironhide's running from it. Either that or something that's A LOT bigger than them...that doesn't narrow things down very well. But now they're living with me.

"If you don't mind of course, little lady." says Jazz with that gentlemanly politeness and raspy tone that I can't say no to.

"Ah, no, of course not." I answer. Hey, Jazz is a cool bot and TC's a great con. Ironhide can play room guard for me too and keep 'Bee company.

"Do you honestly think that we're all going to fit on this tiny shelf?" huffs Tracks from his spot.

"Look, I've seen more Transformers than this on one bookshelf, so don't complain. You guys can move yourselves around remember? Pick a spot and camp." I say, re-taping plastic wrap back on the window. "No, not my side of the bed. Get on your own side, and share with the others!"

The Autobot's space is getting quite cramped. The Decepticons have lots of room, but they're not sharing. Especially Megatron and Starscream. My bed is invaded. I now have a new armory place addition. I think I'll be needing it for Ironhide's guns. I want to keep my room in one healthy piece.

Now if I can just figure out what freaked out those three into busting through my window.

And why MY window?

And where's Synapse? If anyone spots him orbiting around their part of the world, tell me, please?

Power Issues

I'm slumped in my bed, jaw throbbing faintly. It's not enough to be utterly painful, but it's enough to be slightly disabling. Very. Slightly. It doesn't help that this brings out Perceptor's more curious side and he's asking me questions about humans and why do they go about removing natural things from their bodies (such as wisdom teeth). I for one do not feel like talking right now, but one can not fault the microscope for his questions. I would (and have) ask the little Transformers as much as I can given the opportunity.

But I post for a reason other than to mope. The Room Crew has once again expanded, this time with a large explosion in its small population.

First off: Meet movie!Bumblebee. He's about the same size as Skyfire or Tracks toy-wise. Real kind soul....er...spark. Most everyone took a liking to him very quickly. Tracks being Tracks had some doubts at first. But after assuring himself that he is the slicker car, him and Bumblebee have gotten along fine. Bee here is currently hovering, as in mother hen hovering.

Okay, just came back from taking some left-over pain killers and some food that *has* to go with it. I should start feeling a little bit more normal as time passes.

Second off: Well, the room crew now has an Optimus Prime and a Megatron, but don't assume there's going to be any semblance of order in the ranks because of them. These two leaders aren't quite the same as they were before. They don't hold as much....well...authority (or fear in Megatron's case) over their troops. Why you ask? Well maybe the fact that they're about half the height of Longview would answer your question. Skywarp, Cliffjumper, and Mirage (who came in the same package as their faction leaders) are inclined to agree with my view. The Robot Heroes line is cute. Cute is usually not something that makes your job as leader easy.

I'm not going to be surprised at all if Optimus and Megatron each have their little sulks for a few days. movieprotoform!Starscream is having a field day with this though.

"This is entirely pathetic. What an army, eh Megatron?" he jabbed at the tiny leader.

Megatron glowers back. It's really the only thing he can do, Starscream looming large over him anyways. Skywarp is no help in the matter either. He's temporarily declared himself neutral until Starscream goes back to his corner.

Well, Megatron does have one thing. BOOM!

His fusion cannon.

It's tiny, but it packs a punch. I think Starscream's going to be grumbling in his corner for a while now. The Autobots wisely ignore the antics going on above them on the Decepticon shelf and move over to my bed.

Tracks has taken over my pillow and I want it back. You know, I am feeling better, but what sort of harm is hanging around with the Autobots going to do? In bed (on the bed) I stay. I'll just keep my eyes on the debacle unfolding on the top book shelf.

There and Back Again

Whew, exciting side trip straight from France to Canada and then back home again. I wonder how I'm going to explain that to my parents and teachers? Luckily, I really don't have to. Last minute before I ran off with Synapse and Timebomb to Canada (with Long View tucked safely in my bags), you would never guess who I happened to chance upon near the Chateau d'Anet: Autobot Hound. In exchange for a favor that as of yet has not been decided upon, Hound agreed to fill in for my absence with his holographic projectors. I'm not quite sure how he got away with it, but everything was pulled off perfectly. He even got quite a few pictures for me during his time in France. Hey, luck happens.

Anyways, Canada.

Timebomb commented on our brief stupidity in plunging so quickly into a firefight. A spaceship, a human, a laptop, and a pair of binoculars are not going to inflict a lot of damage upon an army of dragons, wizards, and obviously more combat-oriented Transformers. But hey, with Synapse and I acting as snipers, Longview acting as lookout, and Timebomb in kicking aft robot mode, we were able to lend somewhat of a hand. I promise we'll do better next time.

We're home now, back in flat Illinois. I met up with Hound parked complacently down the block from my house. He didn't stick out too bad if you ignored the military decor that covered most of his paint job. But then again, we have at least three police cars parked constantly around the neighborhood (they live here), so a military jeep won't add to the oddness.

"Projecting humans long-term has got to be one of the most frustrating things that I've ever encountered. I swear, your species is most unpredictable." The statement from Hound sounds annoyed typed out, but he smiles lightly while saying it all. It's as if he enjoyed the challenge. For that I'm thankful.

So he drives off into the sunset like the exuberant explorer that he is, promising a visit in the near future or any time that he is in need of that favor returned.

I return to find my room...surprisingly undisturbed. Tracks sits innocently in on the table, legs dangling over the sides while Skyfire and Perceptor bury themselves in some of my books. Longview takes this moment to hop out of my bag and sets himself with a 'click' back onto my bookshelf, optics facing straight out the window.

Home *sigh*. It's as if I never left. Some things never change....with the exception of movie protoform Starscream glaring balefully down at all of us from the top of my corner bookshelf. One of my friends got him for me while in Japan. The lone Decepticon amidst a group of Autobots. A lone movie figure in the midst of G1s. With exception of Longview, but he associates himself more with the G1 Autobots anyways.

"As long as you don't try anything stupid, we're not going to do anything to you." I take the liberty of informing Starscream on his first day as sort-of-part-of the Room Crew.

He says nothing in return, but gives a contemptuous sneer as he points his gun at me. I promptly pluck the firearm from his hands and place it with all the other firearms in my candle holder-turned-teacup-turned-armory.

I swear I heard him mutter something about pathetic fleshlings before stalking into the dark, dusty reaches of the top of the book case.

Starscream will come back out, I know it. He's a vainglorious kinda guy. He won't stand for dust in his joints and plating. But for now he just sits there and glares as I type this post using Timebomb as my laptop (I have given up my old laptop to the use of the Room Crew. Thank goodness for portable hard drives.)

Tracks complains to me about Starscream's haughtiness, but I think he prefers Starscream staying on top of that shelf than Starscream competing for time and attention. If anything pleases Tracks right now, it's the tiny blue model Corvette that I aquired in France. He enjoys pushing it around with him wherever he goes now. It's more his than mine now...I'll just keep the little red motorcycle model for myself then.

Rapidement

Maitenant nous sommes en France. Il fait beau et...screw it.

Right now we're in France. By 'we' I mean myself, Synapse, and Timebomb. Synapse did end up somehow sneaking himself over international airspace to France with me. Clever bugger. I suppose Timebomb hopped a ride with him.

If you're wondering who Timebomb is, I guess that's my fault. Timebomb is big, he's a dark blue, and he's quite a bit bigger than Synapse is in robot-mode. I'm quite relieved that he chose a small and handy alt-mode: a quite awesome laptop. I guess subspace really comes in handy for this transformation. He was a Cybertronian tank before. Yeah, cause a big blue tank would totally be easy to hide in the middle of flat flat Illinois. I'd have the government all over my place if that was the matter.

Now, how Synapse is hiding in the middle of France, I have no clue. But we have no time to worry about that right now. As soon as we can, we're booking it to Canada. My friend Kenya Starflight and her friends are in need of any aid they can get. I know I'm in France right now, but friends in need are friends in need. I'll figure some way to assure my host family.

Don't worry guys, we're on our way.

EDIT: Tracks, don't you dare try anything with my eBay. You try anything and you can forget about that wax job. Skyfire, keep him from doing anything silly...keep an eye out for Perce too, I think he'll need someone to nudge him for some rest sometime. Love yah guys really...just ask next time for the laptop passwords.

I'm gonna have to talk to Longview.
